Special Meeting – 2024 Warrant Ratification

Due to a minor procedural defect in the posted warrant for the 2024 Annual Meeting, the VDE will be holding a Special Meeting on September 19, 2024 to ratify the votes taken at the Annual Meeting. This meeting will be held at the South Cove Activity Center, Hemlock Room, at 6PM. The posted purpose of the meeting is shown in the warrant below.

SPECIAL DISTRICT MEETING WARRANT

THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

To the inhabitants of the Village District of Eastman qualified to vote in District affairs:

You are hereby notified to meet at the South Cove Activity Center, Grantham, New Hampshire at 6:00 P.M. on September 19, 2024 to act upon the following article:

Article 1:        Special Warrant Article

Shall the District vote to cure two procedural defects for the 2024 Annual District Meeting, being the failure of the warrant to state the date, time and location of the annual meeting, and the improper location of Article 6 on the signed and posted warrant as required by RSA 33:8-a, II, and further to ratify the results of that annual meeting notwithstanding those deficiencies?

This Special District Meeting is called pursuant to RSA 31:5-b.
