To continue our Mission, the VDE recognizes the challenges related to our original construction of the systems now five decades old and:
- has prepared detailed Asset Management Plans for both drinking water and wastewater systems.
- has prepared Capital Improvement Plans for both systems.
- has made significant capital improvements in the past ten years.
- has ambitious capital improvements scheduled for the near- and long-term to improve the reliability of service to our customers.
- makes repairs of broken infrastructure as fast as possible in any weather.
