Our spring flushing program will begin Monday, April 24. System flushing is typically done at night, beginning around 9PM.

The flushing of the water mains is a very important part of our maintenance and up-keep of the distribution system.  Mineral scale naturally occurs on all water pipes in any system, and these deposits can lead to aesthetic issues like discoloration and odor.  Regular flushing of the water main system helps to minimize the accumulation of this scaling.

Please watch for emails that will provide a schedule of where we will be each week. It will take approximately 4 weeks to flush the entire distribution system.
