A few weeks ago, we communicated that due to the extended winter weather, and weight limit posting of Eastman’s roads, the West Cove A & B “wet wells” project was delayed from our originally planned April 1 start date.

Our contractor has just informed us that due to other time-sensitive issues, they must defer commencement of this project further, until the autumn of this year.

While we are disappointed that the project will be delayed by as much as six months, this deferral will eliminate any negative impacts the project may have had on beachgoers and  boaters who utilize the West Cove A and B beaches and boat launches.

We will reach out again to the community when a new, firm construction schedule is established.
